July 27, 2008: The
Fayette Neighbor  did a story on The Gallery Players. "Senoia resident and improvisation troupe member Joey Waldrop said the unpredictability of improvisation is what he enjoys most, although that can also be what is hardest. “You never know what’s going to come out and what’s going to be said and how to recover from it,” Waldrop said. “It’s just a very exciting performance.” Audience members regularly approach him with compliments and words of admiration after a performance, but he is quick to remind people improvisation is something everyone can participate in. “Anybody can do it, it doesn’t require years of education, it doesn’t require a background in acting, although those things really help … it’s a very accessible medium,” Waldrop said."

June 30, 2008: Mary Reeves of the Shelbyville Times-Gazette, in her
review of A Midsummer Night's Dream, said, "Joey Waldrop, who played Snout, as well as "The Wall," raised more laughter with one pained expression than you would think possible. "
